2 King Richard III was found recently

3. yes i would like to visit leicester to enjoy watching a match in King Power stadium and to visit the interesting places in the city

Now, I know a lot of things about Leicester City. For example they born in 1884, the city is in Eastern Middlands in UK. There are 300,000 people in the city and Gary Lineker is the most faumos. This one is their first top title and they never have won the FA Cup, they have lost four finals in the history. But, they have won four league cup, bottom throphy.
In 2002 they beggining a new owner, thailands owner. With new stadium, the King Power stadium. I like to visit Leicester and go to King Power for a match between Foxes and Liverpool.

I know about the city of Leicester from the football club. I've never heard anything about the history of Leicester and I'd like to learn something about that. I want someday to visit Leicester to watch a derby.

First time I ever heard for Leicester was in 2000 when they played in Europe with Red Star Belgrade. They were eliminated in two matches but I remember the fans were cheering them all the time.

We use 'support' when we are talking about fans 'encouraging' a football team).

Honestly, I never know about Leicester or Leicester city, but I started to notice them when they won Premier League. I might think that Chelsea has won the premier league but it hasn't. So, i think the others premier league team should be considering them and for Leicester city, they might keep their good performance. After hearing Rich and Jack conversation, I wish I could visit Leicester, they really multicultural city.

I seem to have never heard about Leicester and Leicester city before this season. But now I really would like to visit this city and to see the match with Leicester. Also I would be very glad to be able to communicate with Leicester's citizens in English.

Welcome IhorV, before going, you need to brush up your English, especially for well pronounce the word 'Leicester' ;)
Rich, Jack, please, it’s [brush up my English], or [brush up ‘on’ my English]?
I’m confused because I have founded the two sentences from two different websites learning the language.

Hi Haydi - that's a good question. I would say 'you need to brush up on your English', but I think that both forms are acceptable.

According to Cambridge's online dictionary, both versions are fine - the American English version only includes 'brush up on something', but the British version says 'brush up (on) something' and you can certainly find plenty of examples online of people using the phrase without 'on'.

I've just had a look at another dictionary and they suggest that to 'brush up' something means to tidy or clean, whereas to 'brush up on' implies self-improvement. I quite like this distinction so I'd recommend using 'brush up on something' in the example in your question.

I hope I haven't made this too complicated.

Hi IhorV

Welcome to Premier Skills English!

Leicester took everyone by surprise but their international profile is growing now, after winning the title. Your English is very good, I'm sure you would have few problems with the Leicester accent.

I have just found a, article with images published by 'the sun' speaking about the King Power, How Richard III is inspiring Leicester to Premier League title glory. Open the link: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/6902534/King-Richard...
I like the phrase 'to go from rock- bottom' that they used to describe how Leicester city won the Premier League.

Yes, King Richard was found there and then buried again, last year, in Leicester. Some people have said that this has brought the football team luck. I think that Leicester's victory is probably more to do with the manager and the players!
