Hi Ngo Hung,
Thanks for your message. 'Draw' is a difficult word because it has two football English meanings. Manchester United and Liverpool finished in a draw (0-0). They drew the match 0-0. It can be a noun or a verb.
The second meaning is when people choose which the matches in a cup competition. All the team names are put in a bowl and people choose two to decide the matches. This is a draw. There are draws before the World Cup and each round of the Champions League to decide who will play who.
Hope that helps.

Hi Hafiz,
It's great to have someone else from Sudan on the website. One of our regular podcast listers and visitors to our website is from Port Sudan (Ahmed Adam).
Your question: A cup-tie is the same as a cup match or cup fixture. A cup-tie is a match between two teams in a cup competition e.g. the FA Cup or the Champions League. Last night, Juventus beat Manchester Utd in a cup-tie (sorry).
Hope that helps!
