Talking about where you live
In the video, I talked about Manchester and described the five most important words that I think describe the city. We will practise the vocabulary in a bit, but first, let’s look at the grammar.
I used three forms to talk about Manchester’s attractions. In all of them, the spoken form is often heavily contracted. The language is quite simple, but because of the way the phrases are pronounced, they can be difficult to hear.
1. Present simple - to have
The easiest way to talk about a place's attractions is to use the verb 'to have'. This is exactly how you use it when you talk about possessions.
Manchester has a lot to offer.
In spoken English, this is normally contracted. Listen to the two versions.
2. Has got
This form is used in exactly the same way.
Manchester has got some great shops.
The contracted form here is easier to hear because of the strong vowel sound in got. Listen to the two versions.
3. There is a / There are
A very common way to describe attractions and facilities is to use 'there is a' or 'there are'. Again, this language is very simple, but the contraction can make it tricky to pick out when a native speaker uses it.
There is a brilliant science museum.
I think that there are 3 ways of pronouncing this:
/ðeɪrəzə/
/ðeɪrzə/
/ðəzə/

I think that this is a bit easier. Listen to the two versions.

We are a big city, and We are a incredible people as well. My favorite team is Santos Futebol Clube. It's was the team Neymar where He started to play soccer. My favorite team in Europa is Arsenal. mecca (saudi arabia) it's busy plcae. It's cosmapolitan, very important city for all muslims so there's people from all around the world. it's very old place and there's a lot of historic buldings. it's very hot and sunny almost all the year. It has got a lot of great cafes

I live in Ho Chi Minh city. This is the most busy and dynamic city in Viet Nam. There is a lot of place for people to eat, drink beer , coffee or tea. People is friendly in here and it is a cosmopolitan city when people all over the world come to live, to work,. Food is cheap in here. There is a lot of museum in here too.

I live in Milan. It's a really busy city. The number of citizens is encreasing and it's getting more cosmopolitan than some years ago.
Where ever you go shopping, or having fun in pubs or cinemas you met friendly people. Milan has got a lot of historical building like Duomo, Sforza's Castle, Triennale .

Rimini (ITALY) is a really FRIENDLY place where people love to EAT, DRINK, TALK and... DANCE! It is a COSMOPOLITAN town as well: I've students from South and Central America, China, Eastern Europe and Africa! Our local football club is ruined I don't know in what low series...
